QHSE is in focus in everything we do

Our QHSE culture shall reflect that we are always watching out for the unexpected, that we will manage and control risk, understand what we are doing, and always be open to proposals and improvements.

We believe in improving attitudes by influencing the individual employee, so that the organisation can be systematically steered towards a good and forward-thinking safety culture and so that QHSE is in focus in everything we do.


QUALITY AND SECURITY POLICIES

We wish to be an attractive, modern and secure company in which all employees contribute to the continuous improvement of our deliveries and performance in their day-to-day work.

In their conduct, employees shall demonstrate positive attitudes and maintain high ethical standards.

We shall comply with our own and the customer’s requirements, and we shall be familiar with and meet applicable statuary requirements relating to our business.

We shall be customer and solution-oriented, and seek innovative, cost-efficient and environmentally friendly solutions through the development of our products and services.

We shall always keep a high security level, for the company, and all assets, and follow our strict electronical security level. All our employees shall follow these requirements, and if anyone see any breach of this policy, a report to the top management is required.

We shall work systematically to develop our skills and knowledge, improve our performance and our management systems.

We shall have clear goals for our activities and knowledge about which of our activities may impact the environment, so that we can manage and control them.

We wish to have an open dialogue with customers and other parties concerning this effort. We shall follow up our effort by means of measurements, record-keeping and improvement measures.

Our company’s management shall have a strong focus on this and regularly communicate our goals and performance internally and externally.

In an operative phase, we will implement initiatives to prevent potential acute cases of pollution.

We will prepare a set of environmental accounts and define specific goals to manage consumption and waste volumes and report environmental incidents.



HEALTH POLICY

Our Health police is together with the SafetyEnvironmental – protection policy based on traditional shipping and offshore experience and qualified employees in all positions, both on board and ashore, who shall participate to get our company up as a leader in Health, Safety and Environmental matter.

Health and avoiding sick leave in our organization is one of our main KPI`s, and to keep the sick leave low is health and welfare the most important part.

1. Health, Safety, and Environment are keywords within the organization, and shall be visible in all aspects of our activities.
2. All our employees shall have focus on their own health and participate in the company' s health campaigns.
3. HSE is a management responsibility, both on board and ashore, and shall therefore trough organized activities make sure that every employee has a safe and secure working environment.
4. The company organization shall trough this policy secure that the company's goals are achieved by:

  • Focus on healthy food, on-board and ashore
  • Perform health campaigns every months of the year
  • Necessary equipment and resources available to have the correct focus
  • Well functioned welfare club with health focus and focus in arrange health bringing competitions, etc.
  • All our employees shall comply with offshore health requirements and shall participate in annual measuring.

Give all employees training in health and how we all shall have focus on our own, and our college's health.

Responsibility for complying with the company QHSE policy is individual and personal to all employees from the Managing Director to each individual at the work site.



SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY 

”Our Safety and environmental- protection policy (HSE policy) is based on traditional shipping and offshore experience and qualified enployees in all positions, both on board and ashore, who shall participate to get out company up as a leader in Health, Safety and Environmental matter.

1.Health, Safety, and Environment are keywords within the organization, and shall be visible in all aspects of our activities. 

2.Our management system shall make sure that all employees, both on board and ashore conducting activities in compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and have focus on continuously optimization of HSE results.

3.Contingency plan are including in CMS, with procedures that describes various emergency situations that may occur and how these shall be handled, included the company`s contingency group, and their duty.

4.HSE is a management responsibility, both on board and ashore, and shall therefore trough organized activities make sure that every employee has a safe and secure working environment.

5.Company organization has high focus on safety, health and environment, specially the marine environment. 

6.The company organization shall trough this policy secure that the company’s goals are achieved by:

  • Implementing a well-functioning management system on board and ashore.
  • Establish barriers against all identified risks.
  • Continuously improve safety management skills of persons ashore and onboard
  • Give all employees training in how to use and manage our system.
  • Necessary equipment and resources available and that the vessels are maintained and kept in an high standard
  • Make sure that all employees have the necessary qualifications.
  • Dangerous situations, damages and injuries are avoided trough implemented procedures, checklists and that safety and personnel protective equipment are being used at all times.
  • Observations, near-accidents, non-conformities and accidents/Incidents are being reported and closed/informed in compliance with written procedures
  • Experiences are transferred throughout the organization.

Company management shall verify that all employees have the necessary equipment available to achieve the companies HSE goals.

Implementation and maintenance of this policy will contribute to improve our operational and corporate skills.
